Our Mission Statement
The mission of Emerald Coast United (ECU) is to provide our soccer players with the best technical training and playing environment necessary to reach the highest possible level of play. A vertically integrated technical skills and tactical development program is used to provide the opportunity for ECU players to progress to their maximum ability and potential. The keys to our success include a professional coaching and training staff, oversight by a focused board of directors, and equipment and fields necessary to facilitate a positive training environment.

Emerald Coast United Soccer Club Overview
Emerald Coast United Soccer Club is a medium-size soccer club based in Northwest Florida. It is managed through partnership between soccer club advisory board, known as Board of Directors, and a full-time Director of Coaching. The club also has Technical support staff in the form of a part-time Coordinator of Player Development, and paid part-time coaches assisted by team managers.

The club has a growing membership of around 300 players. Volunteer administrators and helpers provide key support throughout the operation of the club.

At the competitive level the club has established teams through the U10 to U18 age bracket. It is planned to increase teams at all levels in the near future. The club DOC intends to establish a Developmental Training Program, known as the Academy, for recreational players that the club will develop to advanced performance levels and then formation of new teams. There will be 6 levels of technical development and there will be 3 specific club training programs, the Academy, the junior program and the senior program. Each program will have a Technical Developmental Blueprint in place designed by the club's Director of Coaching.

The clubs advisory board has indicated that they would like to see the club become more competitive and be the premier club in Northwest Florida. It is the clubs mission to provide the opportunity for players to progress to their maximum potential while staying with the Emerald Coast United Soccer Club organization. It is the clubs intent to not only retain the players in the club but also to attract players from other clubs.

At the club level the advisory board and Director of Coaching are committed to improve the quality of operational tasks in the following areas: Administration, Educational and Operational. It is anticipated that the Director of Coaching's 3 year growth vision for the Emerald Coast United Soccer Club will provide leadership for the clubs members to enjoy a more enhanced participation in the sport of soccer.
